May's trip to Idaho
In addition to visiting Isaac's extended family in Twin Falls, was a trip to Boise State University.
Isaac smacks a line drive
So, yeah, no updates since March. Sorry about that. I'll make up for it by adding a photo or video from each month since the last update.
We'll start off with an awesome video from April, with Isaac taking a swing of the bat.

Nap fail
Usually a swaddle blanket, pacifier and Imagine will sooth Isaac into a nap. This was not one of those cases.

Spring 2010 photos
Here are six recent photos:

Isaac has a generous selection of blankets. This beauty is from Papa Dave and Ronnie in Nevada.

Two shots of Isaac in his room with Penguin Pete, a gift from the Heaths. He sure likes pushing it around, a great thing to teach a youngster.

On our anniversary weekend, we made a day trip to the Shenandoah foothills. Here's Isaac checking out the tiny grapes sprouting on the vine at the Grey Ghost winery.

And the family picture.

Later that night, we took Isaac to our local Mexican restaurant for the first time. He also likes the chips and salsa.

Isaac's First Christmas Haul

Blizzard 2009
for Isaac. This is his first blizzard. The snow started at 8:30pm on Friday night, December 18 -- one week before Christmas. Now, 23 hours later on Saturday night, the snow is still falling. It hasn't stopped.
We ventured outside for a few minutes to navigate the drifts and take official measurements. There was an average of 20" of snow on Saturday afternoon.
It's also a pretty good self-portrait. Good picture, Mom.
This is a car in our
parking lot. Somebody must have really needed something out of their car.

Thanks for all the quilts
Isaac has a lot of quilts.
Amanda's mom Nancy made this really great "Spaceship in the Jungle" quilt, inspired by a poster in Isaac's bedroom. She also made a bed skirt and rocking chair cushions, which are super-nice.

Mike's mom Ethel made a quilt from pieces of his dad Andy's old jeans, backed by heavy-duty "Trip to Mars" fabric in something like a flannel. It is by far the most rugged of the quilts.

Mike's Aunt Marlene made a very soft, compact quilt with a dinosaur theme. It is extremely functional because of its size, and we probably use it most often.

A newcomer to the Millers, Mike's dad Andy's biological mother, Mary Richendollar, made this quilt featuring mother and baby horses with a rainbow trim.

Amanda's dad Dave's girlfriend Rhonda "Ronnie" Griffith commissioned a ridiculously cute quilt with this little cowboy theme.

We didn't know babies got quilts, but apparently they do.
